Why Uganda?
Overwhelming productivity

Uganda
South Korea
Uganda boasts many advantages for growing cactus flowers, including consistent sunlight and dry weather. Uganda's potential capacity for growing cacti given the same land space and time is approximately 2-3 times that of South Korea.
Plentiful labor force
COA Flowers has the capacity to provide hundreds of jobs to the growing population of Uganda. By providing training and employment opportunities, COA Flowers sees itself growing a skilled labor force in Uganda.
Consistent rainfall and temperatures

World Bank Group
Uganda is located on the equator and has predictable dry and rainy seasons. With high elevations, there is very little fluctation in temperature. Additionally, the sun shines brightly, heating the temperature to 33 degrees Celcius during the day. During the evenings, the temperature falls to 16-17 degrees. Given these optimal weather conditions, cactus flowers can be grown year round, compared to South Korean's relatively short growing periods.
